Featured Partner: kislev

When we first started working on barhoomBag, we knew we exclusively wanted to partner with companies we could feel good about. In fashion, that can be a hard find, which we quickly learned. Noor and I were lucky to stumble upon kislevdesign’s Instagram which gave us a snapshot into the brand and how awesome they are.

Kislev is a new label that specializes in fashion-forward modest women’s clothing. While they’re smaller now, we know kislev's founder Cara will go as far as she wants with the brand. We also love that they, like us, don’t capitalize their brand name. Very trendy.

All their garments are made with love in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York. Their fabrics are made in Italy, the United States and Japan. All being carefully selected and purchased from ethical mills only. It’s so exciting to talk to a brand who knows exactly where all of their materials come from! Kislev is a pridefully label that supports slow fashion and producing in the United States.

Kislevdesign garments won’t only feel good on your body, they will also feel good on your mind and your heart. Check out their Etsy!

But there is definitely a benefit to taking care of yourself. As women, we are so often caretakers. That's a really beautiful thing, but there's also beauty in feeling great while we take care of others. How can we give everyone our best selves when we don't feel our best?
